Do not rent to Keena M. Brooks
Own rental house in Hunstville, AL. Rented to Keena M. Brooks. Tenant rarely paid on time. During last year tenant provided numerous payment schedules and never met them. Finally the tenant moved out without notification on July 4, 2010. I did not realize this occurred until I confronted her. She admitted to it, but still did not remove her belongings until October 31, 2010. Keena owes me over 6 months rent. Keena left rotting food in the fridge and had the utilities shut off. This damaged the Fridge. It also caused the entire house to smell. Had to remove all carpet and paint all walls. Grease was caked in the kitchen. Had to hire someone to clean. Long story short. SHE IS FULL OF LIES. Do not trust her and by all means do not rent to her. She thinks she is entitled and everything should reside on her schedule. This renter is now in the Virginia area. Beware!
